" The Link Between Priming, Money, and Morality "
This paper reviews a study by Gino and Mogilner (2013), which found that priming subjects with the concept of money before a test increased the likelihood of cheating and immoral behaviour, however priming a subject for the concept of time, reduced the likelihood of cheating by allowing them to self-reflect on the type of individual they are. The mechanism in this study which linked money and time was self-reflection.
