A. Attempt 50 free throws on your local basketball court.
(I) How accurate are you from the free throw line at basketball?

B. Give eight of your friends a “Pepsi-test”, as follows. Buy two similarly-coloured soft drinks, hide the drink labels, label them “Drink A” and “Drink B”, and ask each friend to taste each drink and rate it out of 10 in terms of how much they like it (the more they like it, the larger the number).
(I) Is there evidence that the average score for one drink is higher than for the other? (II) What is the average difference (out of 10) between student scores of Drinks A and B?
C. Record how long you slept for (to the nearest quarter-hour) on each of seven nights. Try not to use consecutive nights, if you can – maybe you could randomly select the nights!
