Students in ELEC4613 are allocated a group Technical Report Assignment on one topic assigned to each group. The group size is no more than 3 students. The technical report will include the results of a thorough examination of some aspect(s) of an electrical drive. Each group of students will be expected to use a simulation package such as Matlab/Simulink or PSIM to investigate an assigned topic (see list below) in detail. The machine/drive systems data are included in the description for each topic. A suggested list of items for investigation for each drive topic is also indicated within each topic. You may or may not cover all of these items, depending on your simulation program. You may carry out other investigations of your choice and report on your specific points on interest or data which you managed to obtain through simulation.
