The success of a venture falls to the projects ability to understand the five success factors. These are; innovation, opportunity recognition, value add, resources and stakeholder management. (Bridgstock, 2014) The watch is an example of a projects understanding and successful implementation of the five factors. This report will analysis the success factors of the Pebble watch as well as recommendations to improve the project What is the Pebble watch? The Pebble was created in 2012 by Eric Migicovsky and his company Pebble Technology. The watch is an innovation of the traditional wristwatch dubbed a “ smart watch”. The device communicates with your smart phone, allowing users to view Caller ID, text messages, e-mails, social media alerts, weather updates and calendar alerts on your wrist while your phone remains secure in your pocket. (Clarke, 2013).
