Marketing Plan
The Worlds Biggest Garage Sale (WBGS) is a small Australian company within the antique and used goods retail industry (Burgio-Ficca, 2020). Originally starting from a neighbourhood garage sale, WBGS was founded in 2013 by Yasmin and Leigh Grigaliunas. WBGS has now had over 40,000 people involved in their events and have added $2.2million of social value to the global economy (Worlds Biggest Garage Sale, 2021). The goals of the organisation involve having an impact on people, planet and purpose. Appendix 1 displays a SWOT analysis of WBGS, outlining the company’s strengths and potential opportunities they could undertake in order to grow. The macro-environmental factors are evaluated in appendix 2 and below is an analysis of the two most relevant factors in order for WBGS to succeed in the market.
