Consumer Behaviour Portfolio

Sample text: Throughout Sections 1 – 3, two contrasting behaviours are considered and analysed in relation to the purchase of a laptop. Section 1 reflects upon philosophical assumptions, where personality is discussed and the possibility of influence over my purchasing decisions is analysed. Followed by section 2, the theories of automated and rational decision making questions and why either of these decision making methods would be used relative to unique situations. Section 3 approaches post-purchase dissatisfaction and complaint behaviour. Upon contemplating each theory of decision making within a purchase, consumer behaviour may be mapped by segregating consumers via behaviour patterns. It is critical however, to remember that when putting these theories into practice that individual consumers may be grouped according to characteristics, but specific assumptions should not be made on any individual as their behaviour varies widely.
