AMB263 Major Final Report
Public Relations Campaign: “Yes We Can”
Developed for non-profit organisation: Communify
This Report sets out the communication and public relations campaign for Communify. The campaign initiative named “Yes We Can” is aimed towards baby boomers aiming to educate members of the public about the changing face of aged care and the facilities Communify has to offer.
The scope of the campaign which targets Queensland’s baby boomers population will be projected towards all baby boomers, not prejudicing background, so as to promote Communify as the leading organisation facilitating aged care for this age group. The campaign initiative is a result of two interviews conducted with Karen Dare, Director of Communify and her advice regarding the changing state of aged care in Queensland (see Appendix 1 & 2). The strategy consists of different components, presenting Communify as the leader in the face of the proposed changes in the operation of aged care, standing out from the ‘Big Four’ non-profit organisations, Spiritus; Aus Care; Centre Care; and Blue Care. These components explain the facts, analysis, objectives, and method of controlling activities pertaining to the campaign and aims to present Communify as a ‘one stop shop’ for baby boomers.
