Up until this point, my knowledge of dietitians role was minimal. I had an idea that dietitians were a sort of glorified nutritionist. I need now see that there is a great deal of science involved. This knowledge was gained after listening to professionals talk about their field. And there are a lot of extra qualifications and study associated with this role. I am now seeing a dietitians’ role as a ‘food doctor’.
