1002HSL Qualitative Report
The objective of this qualitative study is to investigate and compare the responses of both single men and single women who do not participate in physical recreation. The responses from the selected single men and women interviewed, will provide information and reasons as to why single men and single women do not participate in physical activity. This report will primarily focus on a review of research methods and research material gathered in relation to the objective of this study.
This qualitative study report will give a description of the research method used to gather the data for the report. It will also discuss and evaluate the major reason that single men and single women do not participate in physical activity. There will also be a focus on the on the issue and the comparison between the genders with the hope to find the reasoning between the two genders, as well as to determine the similarities and differences between the two genders. Understanding why people are physically inactive contributes to evidence-based planning of public health interventions, because effective programmes will target factors known to cause inactivity.
