Your suggestion that the ship seduces Guigemar like a woman is an insightful one, as is the idea that the man loses his agency through being passive in the face of the supernatural. You select appropriate quotations from the primary text with some moments of effective close reading. Your citation from C.S. Lewis is apt but not specifically linked to the supernatural – it would be good if you found some sources for yourself too that more directly address the theme of the supernatural. You need to punctuate appropriately to introduce quotations in a way that works with the wider sentence. Your style is sometimes slightly awkward and you sometimes pick words that are not quite the ones you want.
