Explore the ways in which Harper Lee presents ideas about the good and bad in people. Discuss at least two characters
English Literature A
4 Pages • Essays / Projects • Year Uploaded: 2024
In Harper Lee’s ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ the exploration of the good and bad in people is a key theme and is presented to us by a range of different characters. In Lee’s view, good and bad in people can be defined as what is morally right and what is morally wrong and therefore people who live with a set of morals can be identified as ‘good’ and people who have no morals as ‘bad’.
