For this mid-term analytic paper, you will analyze the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on society and/or how society has responded to the pandemic. You may decide on the geographical scope of your paper (e.g. Singapore, another country, the entire world). Your data can include news/magazine articles and policies, statements, and statistics on government and corporate web sites, among other materials you can find online. Then, you will analyze your data by using three different analytic frames based on the Marx, Weber, and Durkheim readings in Weeks 2 to 4; and either (i) assess which analytic frame can offer the strongest explanation or (ii) synthesize the three analytic frames.
