In this report, we will be taking on the role of a data analytic consulting firm, of which we will be providing recommendations to a high-end furniture company in Colorado on whether or not to send a group of 250 new customers a monthly catalog advertising their products. The management team will approve the distribution of the marketing catalogs as long as the expected profit exceeds $30,000 a month generated from purchases through these catalogs. In addition to developing a predictive model as a method of justifying our recommendations related to the expected revenue generated, the company would like to analyze if a significant difference among the customer segments (i.e. reward programs) exists.
