Final Essay
Title: Arguments for Intelligent Design
Grade: A
Description: Throughout my introductory class to philosophy, we were met with several of philosophy’s big questions. Most of these dialectical questions have been deliberated for time without end. Although many of the founding figures of philosophy have posited their thoughts on these big questions, discussions over their solutions remain strong and vibrant to this very day. Today, I will attempt to join this dialectic on the big questions of philosophy. Of the many
questions that aroused my interest, none seemed to draw my interest as much as the question of God’s existence. The question itself opens up avenues to even more discussion, as people will eagerly seek to answer questions over the nature of God or why there is evil in the world and so on if they knew whether God existed or not. The question of God’s existence may even be an intermediate question to some of philosophy’s other big questions, such as on the meaning of life. If we came to the conclusion that God exists, surely that will affect one’s thoughts over our existence on earth.
Owing to the appeal of such an eclectic question, I seek to confront God’s existence. Does God exist?
