27 Pages • Essays / Projects • Year Uploaded: 2021
TASK 1- This is the "WHAT" of this assessment. What is the pattern worldwide? Growth? How much? Statistics (site your sources). What are the patterns in the 5 regions/continents? (Show us a graph and discuss maybe) What are the patterns in the sub-regions? Use geographic terminology (Arrivals, Departures, Receipts, Growth) Provide maps, graphs, visual data etc TASK 2- This is the "WHY" (as in the reasons why we see what we are seeing) When we look at what is happening around the world and in different regions, we can look at several different factors. These include things such as; Politics (war, unrest etc), Economy - average family having more money (countries experiencing a recession or buoyancy in economies), Natural (disasters), Technology (easier to fly, cheaper due to more competition etc etc) For each of these processes chose examples of where we have seen major growth, dips, plateaus etc. Name wars, name disasters, name all that you can so as to provide me with SPECIFIC DETAIL. Back up what you are saying with graphs. TASK 3- This is the "HOW" (as in how does it affect PEOPLE-individuals and groups) Tourism impacts people all around the world. This can be a positive or negative experience. Discuss how it can be helpful and harmful. Think about MONEY, ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH ISSUES etc Add photos/images and specific case studies about people's lives being impacted by tourism. Evaluate the importance of tourism- overall, is it a good thing or a bad thing? Why? What may happen in the future?
