The film ‘The Boy In The Striped Pajamas’ directed by Mark Herman, is about a boy living in Nazi Germany who moves into a new home with his family. The home has an unfamiliar environment and a Jewish prison camp behind it. A boy named Bruno meets a Jew in the camp named Shmuel who is the same age as Bruno. Their relationship illustrates and teaches us why it is important to accept somebody even if you don’t understand their situation, or that they may be different from you even if society does not. By talking about their relationship and their actions, this will communicate why people should treat others the same regardless of their predicament and background
