This document contains my submission for the 3.1 Biology Investigation standard, graded at E8. From experience, this is one of the toughest and most sought after biology internals on ThinkSwap, because of the onerous task that the internal demands, and the ambiguity of the marking scheme. Any excellence level exemplars would be useful for students, however, this document is even more unique because it not only is a high-quality Excellence+ (E8) submission, but contains a range of outliers and challenges that I faced, which are recorded within. Some of my outliers were extremely unusual and this makes my document extremely useful for other students as they can see how I tackled the challenges that arose and what I did to pass with high success! Last but not least, every single paragraph and section within this document is labelled as either part of an Achieved, Merit, or Excellence criteria, which will be extremely useful for whoever uses this as an exemplar as they can see what I have done to hit each point on the criteria sheet.
