This course covers the relations between the philosophical knowledge, National Education Philosophy (NEP), and Rukun Negara. Philosophy is a tool that is used to purify the culture of thought in life through the art and method of thinking and the human concept. The main topics in philosophy are epistemology, metaphysics, and ethics that are discussed in the context of current issues. Emphasis is given to philosophy as a basis to create intercultural dialogue and to cultivate common values. Upon completing this course, the students will be able to look at various disciplines of knowledge as intertwined within a comprehensive body of knowledge.
