EMI have many branches in each country including Malaysia. Among Malaysian artist is P. Ramlee, Sharifah Aini, Sudirman and more. This is the key people in EMI Ltd. Record which is Lenard John Brown (CEO), Roger Faxon (Former CEO) and Ruth Prior (Former CFO). Here are some company’s that was once the owner of EMI. Firstly Terra Firma Capital Partners (2007–2011), Citigroup (2011–2012), Universal Music Group (2012–present), Sony/ATV Music Publishing, (2012–present), Warner Music Group, (7 February 2013–present) 4 years ago (EMI Records) (renamed Parlophone Records Ltd.). EMI defunct in 28 September 2012. The company was previously listed on the FTSE 100 Index, but the company faced financial difficulties and owed US $ 4 billion, which led to its acquisition by Citigroup in February 2011. FTSE stand for The Financial Times Stock Exchange.
