Abstract—With the development of technology and the economy, more people can access the internet at ease. Many studies suggested that internet addiction has been an increasingly worrying phenomenon influence people especially the youths in Malaysia. This study examines internet addiction in University students. In this study, 120 students from UCSI University have been selected by using a random stratified sampling method. The evaluation of internet addiction levels among students is utilizing by the Internet Addiction Test (IAT). Demographic factors such as gender, age, level of studies was examined. Data collected will be analysed by using the standard deviation and mean. The results show that the internet addiction level among students at UCSI University is moderate. Moreover, there is a notable difference between different gender in internet addiction, as well as, pre-U program students have a higher chance to be an addictive internet user. It is recommended that the issue of internet addiction should be acquainted with minimizing the growth of internet addiction.
