Unemployment among fresh graduates is rearing up its ugly head especially among fresh graduates in Malaysia. According to Cambridge Dictionary (2020), unemployment is the number of people who do not have a job that provides money (Cambridge University Press 2020). It is pretty common to see graduates with excellent performance on academic achievement who are yet to be employed. Based on the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) (2020), the number of unemployed graduates in 2018 was 162000, with an increase of 4.6% compared to 2017 (DOSM 2020). According to the Ministry of Higher Education (2020), it was stated by the Minister Datuk Seri Noraini Ahmad that 75000 out of 300000 fresh graduates are foreseen to face unemployment in year 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Unemployment among fresh graduates in 2020 has been rising drastically from 13.8% in 2019 to 25% in current year (SAYS 2020). Unemployment happens from time to time due to various factors, therefore it is essential for fresh graduates to stay competitive in a more all-rounded manner as in keeping pace with this fast-changing society to be secured with employment
