ASSIGNMENT QUESTION Fred purchased a rock climbing rope and harness from Rock Climbing World. He told the sales assistant about the climbs he was planning and asked for advice on the quality and type of rope that would be suitable for his weight and height. Fred sustained a broken leg and spent a substantial time in hospital and was unable to work for six months after the rope broke on the second climb. There was evidence that the rope was badly made and in an improper condition. Advise Fred on whether he has any rights or remedies under the Sale of Goods Act 1923 (NSW). Also advise if the Vienna Sales Convention applies to this transaction. ANSWER attached, recieved Credit!
