Quantitative Proposal

Submit a single, unified synthesis of MJ Entries 1-3. Select a single quantitative RQ and develop a proposal. Include: A problem statement describing the issue, the team topic, and your topic (10%) A quantitative research question that is operationalizable and aligned with your topic (25%) A literature review containing at least 3-5 sources (15%) A description of your methods, including (10% each, 50% total): The case you would use to address the RQ The indicators that would use to address your RQ, including specification of those indicators with specific formulas or detailed verbal description and two citations of academic sources to support the selection of those indicators A null hypothesis and hypothesis and a description of how you will test your hypothesis, including the indicators you would use and a visual illustrating your quasi-experimental design A description of how you would generate the data for these indicators, and two academic sources supporting your tests, indicators, and/or data generation process. You could use the sources to support the inclusion of methods and/or describe threats to validity A critique of the Eurocentric elements of your proposed data collection methods and analysis framework OR a discussion of how you moved toward decolonising your work.
