In today’s world violence is very common due to it being exposed in the media, on video games or even seen at sporting events for an example. This causes a great risk for war and conflict to become normalised. It is therefore very important for the youth of today to realise that our individual attitudes and actions can contribute to peace in our world. While world peace may sound scary and hard to accomplish by just one individual, it doesn’t mean that it cannot be done. In history there have been many inspiring people that have made great contributions towards world peace such as Ghandi, Martin Luther king, Nelson Mandela etc.
