Asylum Seekers should be legalised in Australia. Asylum seekers are people who have fled their homes and countries in the face of oppression or either something along the lines of risking their lives .These people are normal human beings and they need all the support and empathy they can get so, why aren’t we as compassionate and caring people of Australia, giving it to them? After all they have gone through, we should all heed to this right? Therefore, asylum seekers should be legalised in Australia because Australians have signed the 1951 UN Refugee Convention and should keep to their word, they will have a chance to start a new and lastly we as Australians have to put the Asylum seekers in our shoes and actually consider that if we were in that situation, what would we have done?
