The effects of globalisation are evident in the rapid growth of China’s economy and increase in economic development. The rise in employment levels and declining inflation reflects the impact of globalisation. Trade and investment in China has dramatically increased due to the reduction in trade barriers. While globalisation predominantly provides positive economic impacts on China, the nation’s rapid economic growth has lead to an unequal distribution of income and wealth, and the country’s rapid industrialisation has created negative environmental effects.
