An experiment was conducted to determine whether angular momentum or kinetic energy is conserved when a collision occurs between a stationary disk onto a spinning one. The expected final angular velocity was calculated to be 6.158 ± 0.156 rads-1 which is 0.058 rads-1 greater than the experimental value of 6.100 ± 0.001 rads-1 . This proved that angular momentum is conserved.
