Essay: The influence of Nazi propaganda and the effects on the population of Austria
COMS306 - Media and Conflict
11 Pages • Essays / Projects • Year: Pre-2021
This essay is going to analyze the propaganda used on the population of Austria and Germany and how thousands tried to flee and others ended up cheering. What was the cause for this 'split' of different reactions/ attributes towards Hitler's arrival? How did the Nazi regime propaganda influenced so many? Furthermore, the essay will explain the three key elements to seize power and how freedom of speech has been taken away along with other rights. In addition, it will cover the themes that recur in Nazi propaganda and analyze it. At the end of the essay, I will mention the so-called victimization of Austria and the effects of the propaganda.
