The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between dependent variable, return on assets (ROA) and other internal and external variables in InterContinental Paris Le Grand in France over five years. The analysis is applied on the sample of data in this hotel over the period between 2012 and 2016. This study is using a descriptive analysis such as credit risk, liquidity risk, operational risk and economic environment so as to investigate the variables influencing the profitability performance of the company. The finding shows that the company performance can be influenced by the risk and economic environment. The study found that profitability performance is significantly influenced by operational risk. While for the external factors, inflation rate and interest rate are influencing profitability performance of the company.
