Phoenix Dactylifera, a tropical and subtropical tree in the Palmae (Aceraceae) family, is one of humanity's earliest cultivated plants. For the last 7000 years, it has played an essential role in the daily lives of the people of the Arabian Peninsula. The development of date fruits is separated into three stages: Khalal, Rutab and Tamr, with the Tamr stage being the most collected. Because of the encouragement and assistance offered by the respective governments to the date processing industry, the quantity of processed dates has been gradually increasing in recent years. Date plants produce a lot of agricultural waste, with each date tree producing roughly 20 kg of dry leaves each year, according to one estimate. It is preferable to treat it by biological processes rather than burning it in farms, which poses a severe hazard to the environment (Chandrasekaran & Bahkali, 2013). Hence, there are a lot of benefits to gain if we recycle palm date waste.
