How are the first 100 days of Trump’s Presidency reported in media coverage?

President Trump’s media coverage during his first 100 days set a new standard for negativity. Studies of previous presidents show nothing comparable to the level of unfavourable coverage as Trump. Among media reports with a clear position, negative reports exceed positive ones by 80 percent to 20 percent (Media Tenor 2017). This study analyse the first 100 days of Trump’s Presidency through the lens of what media reported about him. The study is based upon an analysis of news reports of 21 sample articles from 7 different sources across United States which including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and other main newscasts such as CBS, CNN, Fox News, and NBC. Selected news media in the study contain position from liberal, conservative and moderate across U.S.
