It must be a stimulus response essay and have stimulus materials attached It must be associated with a skill development program leading to the assessment It must include instructions to the student on how the essay is to be answered – this may be a scaffolded series of questions, or instructions on how to approach their response to the question. It must clearly show : Year level Core unit Unit topic Conditions for application of assessment Criteria the students should apply for their decision-making Criteria by which the essay will be marked
