Part 1 (70 marks) Each student is to choose one (1) of the three (3) topics aligned with the assessment 3 criteria (either self-awareness, emotional intelligence or empathy) and post on the Moodle site (in the assessment 1 folder) a short answer (total of 700 words) that addresses the following question: ‘How would you explain the concept of self-awareness / empathy / emotional intelligence to another person’? You are to provide a definition of your chosen topic and integrate in-text referencing into your answer. You are also to provide a list of the references used (in reference list format) at the end of your posted answer (this is not included in the word count). Please note that whilst your answer does not need to be in essay format, you should attempt to introduce your topic to the reader and provide a brief conclusion.
