This report provides a complete and effective recruitment and selection guide for JoPek Sporting Goods. The report identifies current recruitment and selection problems and gives recommendations to correct these. It outlines in detail the strategic decisions about staffing quantity and quality that JoPek should follow and gives a comprehensive staffing plan for the upcoming year. Two centralised recruiting guides are provided, one for managerial positions and the other for operational or sales assistant positions. In-depth analysis of data provided by management generated the recommendations that work experience, biodata, and conscientiousness should be used for the selection methods as they are the best predictors of good performance. Following this analysis two selection plans were constructed and provided in detail. From the selection plans interview guidelines were constructed listing five behavioural based interview questions to be asked of managerial candidates and five situational based interview questions to be asked of operational candidates.
