Literature review 2500 words 40% Topic was Racism in Australia Racism is among the prevalent historical problems that exist in all parts of the world (Forrest and Dunn 2007; Jakubowicz 2012). From large states like the United States of America to small Aboriginal villages in Australia, racism is a well-recognized societal problem, especially among the settlers’ societies (Forrest and Dunn, 2007). Historically, racism has aligned with immigrating societies where it remains manifested as a result of different nationalities coming together. The manifestation is a result of humanistic characteristics like skin colour, customers and values, religious beliefs and practise, and many other factors (Forrest and Dunn 2007; Augoustinos, Gridley, Kyrios, Reser and Turner 1997). In countries of diverse nationalities like United States, Canada, Australia, and others, racism is embedded in multiculturalism, usually identified through ethnic mosaic but in some countries where there no multi-nationalities, racism takes a cultural route. For example, in New Zealand, racism is mainly manifested through biculturalism involving indigenous Maori and Pakeha (Forrest and Dunn 2007). Bottom line, racism is a prevalent social challenge that mainly arises from the differences in nationalism, skin colour, religious beliefs, and many other factors.
