Word count: 1,500 words This assessment is designed to test your understanding of the key themes in the course. The form of this assessment is a 1,500 word academic essay. For this assessment you are required to demonstrate: research skills ability to contextualise your discussion within relevant historical, theoretical, cultural, and/or sociopolitical frameworks. ability to critique art, design and media practices by synthesizing your own analysis and argument with other writers. Your essay question is the question you chose for Assessment 1. Write a 1,500 word essay, paying attention to scholarly presentation, which includes legibility, layout, correct formatting of references and bibliography. Use Footnote / Bibliography or 'Oxford' referencing style. Be sure to indicate what question you are attempting. You can use your introduction from Assessment 1 as part of your essay, however you are expected to edit and refine your writing, taking into consideration your assessor’s comments.
