Introduction In this experiment, we will be determining the relation between the length of the string of the pendulum and the period by investigating the time taken for the pendulum to complete a period with different length of the string and compare it with the expected time period. Aim: To show the relationship between the length of the pendulum and its period using a pendulum. Materials • Mass as the bob of the pendulum • 1-meter string to start with (so we could cut it out to certain length when its needed) • Place to hang the string attached to the bob as the frictionless pivot • Stopwatch • Camera • Measuring tape
