The Everest simulation is an online exercise which encouraged six students to work together in order to summit Everest. There are five stages on the way to the summit of Mount Everest. In each rounds, members should make decisions of whether turning into the next round as well as resolving the health, weather and oxygen challenges. Each member is assigned a unique role by randomly and is given specific resources to achieve individual goals as well common goal of avoiding rescue in the simulation. The purpose of two simulations is to develop the abilities of communication with teammates and decision making skills by conducting rational analysis. The level of performances in the simulation is determined by the achievement of personal goals as well as common goals.
