Part 1 of this report will introduce the background of the company, its core business operations and the problems it has with its current system. Furthermore, it outlines the general assumptions made during the design assesses the limitations and flaws of the database design of the database and thus providing a scope into the database. Part 2 of the report will have diagrams of the entity relationship models providing a general snapshot of the structure that the database would have. This part will also outline the relational model that was derived from the entity relationship model discussing the reasoning of the design while evaluating its purpose. Part 3 will cover the data dictionaries of the database detailing each table name and respective attributes.
