The description omits details of the lesson. Some misinterpretation of what is meant by learner as doer - is not only active participation but consideration of what is involved in each learning activity for the learner e.g., cognitive, affective, social or psycho-motor skills. The analysis needs to focus on these aspects of learner as doer as well as active participation and reflection needs to consider what you learned about how teachers address the learner as doer from the observation. (14/20) Observation2: Introduction includes details of setting and f ocus of observation. Choosing to do 4 openings and closings means that important details have been lef t out of each description. The analysis of the opening seems to have been interpreted in terms of learning principles rather than teaching. The analysis of closing makes some good points but needs to be linked to examples and interpreted in light of relevant research literature. The reflections include several point of learning from the analysis of the observation. Some minor issues with APA referencing. (14/20)
