9 Pages Essays / Projects Year: Pre-2021

Defining and clarifying my topic After my visit to Gardens by the Bay, a National Park in Singapore I was inspired by how they executed and endorsed sustainability so well. I have also observed that the topic of Sustainability has also been increasing in popularity, which has influenced businesses worldwide to consider and implement it. So with my interest in this topic as well as my observations, I have decided that this research project would be a good opportunity to conduct further research on it. I also believe that this is a significant topic to discuss because Australia has been experiencing detrimental changes in our eco systems, dramatic declines in the distribution of species which is predominantly believed to be caused by the unsustainable lifestyles of most countries, especially Australia. The mind map that I have made allowed me to finally decide upon the specific topic under sustainability that I was most interested in and analyse it in terms of the resources that I plan to utilise. This lead me to my topic of sustainability in Australia instead and specifically Adelaide, where I currently reside because it would be more geographically attainable to acquire primary resources such as interviews and surveys
