In this negotiation, I was representing Beta in order to create a deal with the opposing side Alpha. The goal for this negotiation was to become partners with Alpha in order to attain a greater scales of economies by boosting overseas sales and to develop a presence in the Alpha market. Unfortunately, it was not possible for us to come to an agreement within the time restraint. In order to identify and explain critical moments that occurred, the report will draw on two aspects of negotiation; communication and power. Lastly, I will reflect on the lessons I have learnt as an intercultural negotiator and team player through these simulations.
