As I am a conscientious, critical thinker, my past experiences undeniably impacted my ability to set an effective SMART goal. Theory of critical thinking suggests that individuals comprehend past experiences in order to analyze, synthesize and evaluate how that same action can be used for future success (Geng, 2014).
