10 Pages Essays / Projects Year Uploaded: 2021

This piece was my mid-semester essay for LLB141 at QUT. It scraped in a distinction for 32/40. For anyone that acquires this, you should be advised to divert attention away from mechanical, descriptive applications of principle/rule/authority in your piece, favouring instead critical analysis of the issues or problem statement. Look to the General Comments and beyond Ayoob. I can't stress that enough - it is where the marks are. Consider alternative views too, it enables the marker to conifedntly sign you off on 'depth of knowledge and argument' type criterion. Looking back, this was an easy assessment piece that I simply rushed. Anyone who dedicates some time and extensive research to this topic should be able to achieve 40/40. But even if you do poorly, don't worry. It's probably your first year. Everyone is permitted some average performances in their first year.
