Like the 20 million other fans that tune in each April, I grab my popcorn, make myself well acquainted with my couch and prepare for 3 months of exhilarating basketball action. The live feedback, commentary and entertainment that ESPN piles into their broadcasting certainly makes for a compelling and engaging home entertainment experience, however, I’ve always felt there was something missing. Something I couldn’t quite put my finger on; something larger than basketball and all the TV gimmicks combined.
