In the first section, you have provided an outline of the problems, and presented some data to support your discussion. It would have been nice to see some economic data, particularly with respect to the associated economic costs, and presented in a table or graph. You have presented the correct economic model, but there are aspects of your theoretical discussion that require further refinement. For instance, an explanation of the DWL and why MSB is less than MPB could have been provided. The discussion on MPC and MSC does not much value under the current setting. Your policy discussion would have benefitted from examining specific cases where the proposed policies have been implemented in practice and their impact on antibiotic consumption. A price ceiling sits uncomfortably in the policy section - as it does not address the issue of moving the market towards an economically efficient outcome.
