America was having a boom in economy, the war was long gone and tons of merchandise flooded the market. Live was better in every way yet an on going battle with an imaginary enemy escalated. By then Vietnam was divided into to two by the Geneva conference, the North was lead by communist leader Ho Chi Minh and the South half is a puppet state lead by a puppet emperor Bao Dai. The US had just Ended the war in Korea, where North and South Korea was still standing yet a lot of man died in the struggle. Vietnam had just got over with her French master, faced a division by western powers in a “conference”, where the land and the people was divided by the 17th parallel, later to be unify by a democratic election.
