In fact between 1940 and 2004, 355 new infectious diseases were discovered (Jones et at. 2007). These new infections are arising in modern human societies as we have developed many factors which are causing these diseases to spread and cause possible outbreaks. Factors developed in modern society affecting human health include environmental, ecological, demographical and human behavioural factors. More specifically climate change, sexual behaviour, population movement, agriculture and evolution of pathogens. These major factors have therefore in the past few years played a major role in the spread and outbreak of various new diseases such as HIV, Dengue, meningococcal, Ebola and many more.
