Executive Summary The purpose of this consulting report is to give senior management of SFO a suggestion of the economic feasibility of installing Quantum Secure’s SAFE system in Terminal 2. Given the fact that strict accessing authentication control, identification of authorised users and issuance of ID badges are required by SFO airport, SAFE suite is needed to provide a new physical identity and access management system to support ordinary processes of the airport. Moreover, SAFE software can be also seen as a solution to address the existing problems from the current PACS system, such as compliance with government regulations and potential risk rising from airport security.
