Christian Adherents, Salvation is the restoration of a broken relationship between the people and God, resulting in new life and peace. Salvation is available to everyone who follows Jesus Christ because of what He did on the cross, in His burial, and in His personal, physical, and immortal resurrection from the dead, as evident in John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” To be saved, Christian adherents must personally believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and follow Him by faith on a daily basis as shown in Acts 16: 30-31, “What must I do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” This essay will explain the Christian understanding of Salvation and its importance for Christian adherents. Only those who have trusted in Jesus Christ for salvation will be saved from hell. God's greatest blessing is salvation, which he has revealed and made available to mankind; Ephesians 2:8-10, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast.” “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
